Can make or take a second call.
Google Apps users could now make a second call without ending the first when using Google Voice, the internet-based phone and video application within the Gmail email platform.
Until now Google Apps users were only able to make one call at a time. A user on a video or phone call could make a second call which automatically put the first call on hold. The user could switch between calls by pressing the “Resume” button on the respective call.
If a user received a call while already using Google Voice, a notification lets the user know of the second call with the option to put the first call on hold and answer it.
The feature worked across all call types (internet-based voice, video and regular phones). The service was limited to a maximum of two outgoing calls to physical phones at the same time.
