Popular electronic forms lodgement service GovReports has integrated with Intuit’s QuickBooks Online so businesses can lodge their Business Activity Statement (BAS) online through GovReports’ portal.
A GovReports user could sign into QuickBooks Online from within their GovReports account, export completed BAS reports and file them electronically with the Australian Taxation Office.
“Tax agents can log into GovReports once and load reports using their individual AUSKey for multiple clients even though the source records are from different accounting softwares,” said Tiana Tran, director of GovReports.
GovReports was working on integrations with other accounting pograms for SMEs and enterprises, Tran added.
“This partnership between QuickBooks Online and GovReports will not only save time for small business owners by reducing the paperwork, but also improve efficiency through minimising errors that often occur during manual data entry,” said Brad Paterson, VP and managing director for Intuit Asia Pacific.
