An expo for Brisbane businesses interested in cloud applications and digital technology is being held this week at the Brisbane City Hall. The second Click! Digital Pro Expo 2014, organised by government agency Regional Department Australia Brisbane, will take place Thursday afternoon and Friday morning.
The event was a “key digital initiative” for business and would allow SMEs to learn about the fast evolving digital environment and assist in their competitiveness, said John Shepley, chairman of RDA Brisbane, in a press release.
“Our exhibitors here at the expo represent the cutting edge of digital technologies – it’s a great opportunity to talk one-on-one with a diverse range of digital experts about your individual needs and goals,” Shepley said.
More than 40 exhibitors including several cloud accounting vendors, add-on programs such as Vend and cloud integrators such as Rype were attending.
The two-day expo’s 36 sessions will cover beginner, intermediate and advanced topics such as the definition of cloud, what steps to take and the business benefits of social media. Customer loyalty, growth with cloud apps, and marketing and SEO related seminars are also among both morning and afternoon sessions.
“Brisbane will be showcased as a world-class destination for tourism, education, trade and business investment, and we see digital engagement from all sectors as the key to maximising our potential as a true world city,” Shepley added.
