Today, Microsoft announced all Office 365 subscribers will receive unlimited OneDrive storage for at no additional cost to their subscription.
In May, Google added unlimited storage to the Google Apps for Work edition (capped at 1TB per user if the Google Apps account has less than five users).
The announcement follows an increase in June from 20GB to 1TB for Office 365 users, and price reductions and storage increases for OneDrive users.
The rollout commences today, with users subscribed to Office 365 Home, Personal and University scheduled the first to receive the new storage allowance. Microsoft OneDrive for Business customers will have unlimited storage from 2015.
