MYOB has added quotes to its cloud accounting program LiveAccounts and continued to improve the interface, recent product release notes revealed.
Users could create quotes in the Sales section (previously Invoices) which could be turned into an invoice with a single click. Users could track the progress of quotes in the Quotes list and see which quotes had been sent, declined and accepted.
Expiry terms on a quote helped a user know which customers they needed to follow up and when.
It was an “end-to-end sales process, making your business look more professional, and saving you from doubling up on data entry”, the release notes said.
MYOB had streamlined several processes such as setting up a new LiveAccounts account, allowing users to bypass the setup assistant. GST settings and an area for inviting accountants to the app had been given their own pages.
A previous upgrade had added interactive balance sheet reports that let users click on each account and click once to edit a journal entry or transaction.
The improvements put LiveAccounts head of rivals in some areas, such as adding quotes, while interactive reports were already common features.
